Raleigh Chopper MK1 Metal Seat Base - Superb Brand New Faithful Reproduction

This New Raleigh Chopper MK1 Seat Chassis is a direct replacement for your rusty original, or your can build a new seat with new padding and cover too. The seat chassis has been developed to be millimetre perfect to the original design and is very difficult to tell apart from the originals - apart from the rust, that is. It is manufactured from the same gauge of steel and assembled using exactly the same engineering techniques. Each upholstery prong is in exactly the same place as an original, so it it totally interchangeable with original covers, pads and under board.

We supplied a new base to a customer that had an original seat, with a great cover, but the base itself was shot (crusty with a broken seat post bracket). The original cover (and foam) were carefully removed from the old base, cleaned and then assembled back on to the new base, using the original factory holes in the original cover and as all of the prongs are in exactly the same place, the finished item looked superb and factory original.
